Remember that we played the combat rules wrong in the first game, so I think the characters were a little more effective there than they should have been. In Game Two, Lady Luck had apparently been snubbed by Rich and she had her vengeance on him. There's no way that Krudger should have survived a 30-dice attack... but he did!

@JP,
Thanks for the advice. I'm going to paint some of the goblins this weekend, I think and I'll give your method a try. :-)Talariushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15904202012153034357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3413040700811887269.post-16485621144664628712012-11-14T03:30:20.909-08:002012-11-14T03:30:20.909-08:00Really enjoyed reading that, and the pics brought ...Really enjoyed reading that, and the pics brought the narrative to life. Exciting stuff.

To help paint your armies faster but still to a great tabletop standard, I highly recommend using Army Painter paints, sprays and inks/dips. Just spray the main colour on (eg: green) then neatly paint all the metal, cloth etc. A good coat of strong ink/dip, a blast of antishine varnish and done!

Looking forward to more posts.

Cheers
JPAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3413040700811887269.post-21698967833136387142012-11-13T21:10:01.552-08:002012-11-13T21:10:01.552-08:00I hope it was just bad luck for the poor goblins! ...I hope it was just bad luck for the poor goblins! -as I've got a whole horde of them waiting to be assembled ;) The characters looks like they played a larger part than I'd have suspectedLaughing Ferrethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11649878935225675051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3413040700811887269.post-70977307606431187282012-11-13T18:02:14.827-08:002012-11-13T18:02:14.827-08:00Great post.
